Let’s put it this way:

When Karl Georg Scho­bert started the pro­duc­tion of turned parts ne­arly 60 years ago, he had pro­bably no idea what the ma­nu­fac­tu­ring of turned parts would be like today and what it would take to sur­vive in the ra­pidly chan­ging market of CNC-ma­nu­fac­tured parts.

It was simply a to­tally dif­fe­rent time. Ho­wever, he de­serves praise no­tably for ha­ving suc­ceeded in ar­ran­ging the suc­ces­sion wi­thin the fa­mily. The­r­e­fore, the se­cond ge­ne­ra­tion of the fa­mily has ma­naged the busi­ness for many years and the third ge­ne­ra­tion is al­ready poised to take over the management.
